Diary of a writing project. Day 164: when to stop writing

Writing is going well, I’m super energized. To energized.
Like when you’re on a sugar rush, and you think it’s gonna last forever and all of a sudden, crash.
I feel like that this week. Is going well, I don’t wanna stop, but I know it cannot last and I have to save some energy if I wanna stay productive in the long run.

Writing goals.

More than often, it helps. However, sometimes, it does quite the opposite.

Diary of a writing project. Day 163: productivity list before dawn

Here some of the productivity tips I gathered from other writers, AuthorTubers and, of course, from bloggers found on Pinterest (my dear friend) and that I actually use.

The dream was pleasant.

Last thing I remember before waking up is myself talking about kettles to a tall stranger smiling a heart-stomping smile.

It’s all good. Except I woke up at 3:45 am, and I can’t dive into a mug of earl grey just yet, because everybody’s sleeping.

Without my drink of choice, it’s funny how I’m having a hard time focusing on the words. Or formulate any words, to be honest.

Is it legal even to write without a caffeinated or sugar infused drink ?

Diary of a writing project. Day 162: what time is it?

We are a great many.

To hate Daylight saving time.

For a couple of days after the real outdated Daylight saving time measure, I keep asking myself what time it really is.

This morning, I woke up at 5 in order to get more words on the page, but really it was 4 am.

It was dark and gloomy, heavy clouds holding back a promise of rain. But as luck would have it, I woke up with a smile, courtesy of a funny dream.

And since my dreams have been dark and nightmare-ish for the past two months, I would venture and say it’s a good sign.

Is it the spring?

Is it because I’m consciously stopping myself when I’m getting in a negative thinking mood?

Don’t know.

One thing for sure : it’s a perfect way to start the writing week!
