Day 46: The Smallest Window
Word count goal for this week: 40 000 words
Final word count for this week: 28 702 words
And pouf, after a good night of rest, writing motivation was back on track! But I barely had time to get a through a problematic dialogue.
Saturday is family time day. We go out to the library, or to the water, to the park, to the farm, to the ugliest little shopping centre where the only bookstore for miles around is hidden.
If it’s possible, I write during nap time.
I was not so lucky today. With major career changes brewing, I could not spare more than an hour to write.
And it was hard to focus at first, ’cause ideas for marketing plans, and that thing I needed to research, and that person I could contact maybe, all that noise was still buzzing around in my brain.
Anyway, it wasn’t much, but I’m glad I made time to do it. I got the story out of a tiny knot and now, it’s back on track and it will be ready to conquer the world… soon…ish.
One page at a time, certainly said a famous author at some point in the course of the past 200 years !
Day 47: Time change
Word count goal for this week: 47 500 words
Word count so far: 28 702 words
Last night, I woke up at 2:45 am. And never got back to sleep.
Time change day is horrible. Now, we’re back on « real » time and I wish, oh do I wish it could stay that way.
All day was a long successions of « what time is it » and « I’m so hungry but it’s so early to eat ».
I can’t think of nothing but going to bed.
Until next dear writer friends!
