Diary of a writing project. Day 121-122-123: editing, not counting words

When I decided to take writing seriously, I started to research and read and watch videos.
Word count is a big thing.

For various reasons.

Will I willingly jump in the burning volcano and talk about why it’s a big thing?

No. No indeed.

Writing goals and keeping a word count really helped me.

But it also kinda backfired on me in 2019.

Sooo… word counts: yes? no?

As always, my answer is: in between!

Diary of writing project. Day 116: fear, the common writing place

While binge-reading a bunch of novels last week-end, I find out that:

  • I use the same term used in a super-famous bestseller to describe a similar character gift and therefore, have to come up with something new
  • I have trouble writing fear convincingly
  • The way I describe light is pretty boring

Sooo, I’m thinking I’ve got some work to do!

Healthy Writing Tips

Past couple of months were rough. It was even thougher, writing wise.

I know why.

Well…NOW that I’m back from a long writing break…
That I’ve been able to sleep, and at long last, finished cleaning the dirty dishes from the Holidays party’s (almost not kidding, m’dears).
