This week word count goal: 32 500 words
Word count goal so far: 15 435 words
I set an ambitious word count goal for that particular YA-WIP.
Because I want to be able to rough-draft a novel in less than three months.
Because this book genre seems to want to make a come-back, and the time to write it and sell it is NOW!
Because I had this story in mind for a while and it is really, really fun, and I love it.
I knew this week was coming: the week of working late at night in order to get back on track with the YA-WIP.

To achieve that, I’m going ballistic on writing tips. So, I will :
- brainstorm a ton tonight
- rewrite my outline for the next chapters in more detailed.
- use slow writing sprints
- reward progress
- set the writing mood
- ditch my day job – just kidding; that is about the worst thing both aspiring and published authors can do actually.
So, I will bid you, dear fellow writers, good night and sweet dreams, for I am going to brainstorm my way into « The writing rush week ». And hope to not fall asleep too quickly, ha!
