Little words were written, but many were read.
It was raining today. Heavy rain, high winds.
Right now, the wind are crazy strong. Feeling the house itself shake at moments.
It would be a perfect writing ambience, if it wasn’t so scary. But hey, it’s good food for the creativity.
Rain
The only, only time rain depresses me is during December.
I live up North and I’m used to a snowy December before a very snowy or very cold Holiday period. When it rains in December, I can’t help it, I get grumpy and rather sad.
The rest of the year, rain puts a smile on my face.
What else to do when it rains then sit down with a mug of tea and write?
Well, sometimes, if it’s not raining too much, I like to go for a walk in the rain.
The streets are empty, the world, quieter. And mysterious, lost at times in low clouds of mists.
Around my small town, millions of years ago, wanna-be mountains sprung from in the plains. There’s a river full of singing rapids, and a old stone fort, build like the ones built by the French, then the British.
How can a writer not WANT to write about dragons, girl-knights and charming royalty, held prisoners by very villain Villains?
In this pandemic time, walking in the rain seems an ever better idea.
Today however, the wind is blowing, mighty and strong. Better keep my writer nose behind doors, or more so, behind the screen.
Dear fellow writers, thank you for reading, once again. May all the words flow your way !
Until next time !
